Got a question? We've got answers.
BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members. The goal is to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time. It creates opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants. It is where conversations for the next-big-thing are happening.
No. We’re all-in and taking precautions to help ensure the safety of all our attendees. Please see our statement on Covid-19.
Every year we’ve increased in number. Last year, 2019, we had approximately 550 attendees. This year we’re planning on 600, but aren’t quite sure how Covid-19 will affect attendance.
We have a wide range of attendees from infosec professionals, executives, general IT, and even students. Attendee registrations include directors, managers CIOs, CISOs, CEOs, consultants, analysts, and more.
No. Attendee anonymity is one of the fundamental principles of all BSides Events. We keep our attendee information private, but we do encourage all attendees to visit all of our sponsors. We also encourage sponsors to collect business cards with giveaways at their table.
Platinum and Diamond sponsors are put on a passport postcard. Attendees that get a stamp from all the Platinum and Diamond sponsors get their name put into their own door prize drawing at the end for the largest prizes.
Absolutely. We strongly encourage sponsors to give away prizes at their table as a way to engage attendees. If you’d prefer us to give something away as a door prize, just let us know. Contact us at [email protected].
No. BSidesOK is a free conference with no requirements for a badge. We do not keep track of attendee information or provide it to sponsors.
Each sponsor will receive a 6‘ or 8’ table and two chairs. If you have a preference for table size, please let us know at [email protected] The tables are lined around the conference halls so that attendees are forced to pass by and interact with sponsors.
Outlets are available near some booth locations, but not all. If you require electricity for your booth, we can generally accommodate that if we know ahead of time. We do not charge extra for this.
In general, we don’t have extra stuff. If there’s something you need, please ask & we’ll do our best to help you out. If you need monitors/speakers/etc, we can run to BestBuy for you and pass along the cost, but it’ll probably cost more than just shipping your own.
As many as you like. This is a free conference thanks to your generosity. Please register your attendees so that we have an accurate count on food, beer, and t-shirts. Register to Attend

Sponsorships that include a logo on the t-shirt need to have submitted a signed sponsorship agreement and paid the invoice by March 23, 2020 in order to be on the t-shirt. Sponsors can join us after that date, but their logo won’t be on the t-shirt.
